Memphis all-time commits

We now have 4 of the top rated players in the top 20 of all-time. Of course, all-time in this case only goes back to 2001. Still pretty impressive.

Do not know if that says more about how good the last two classes were or how poor the recruiting has been over the past 15 years.

Also interesting how many of those top recruits didn't actually pan out for the Tigers.

On the flip side...Dontari Poe at 100, Paxton Lynch at 146.

I guess transfers don't make this list. Keiwone Malone was a 4 star who ended up pretty good his senior year. I guess Steve Matthews would have been in that same bucket? Not sure if they even had recruiting ratings back then.

I'm hopeful these higher rated players will pan out. Having said that, I 'd rather have a 2 star guy like Martin Ifedi over a 4 star guy that never lives up to the hype.
