Yes, 3G connection sucks. I have a Samsung Note 4, with T-Mobile 4G, and I downloaded the TuneIn Radio app. It allows you to get any streaming station in the world, and it works great. Give that a try.

Since the games are on at 4PM (Pacific Time), I just listen to the app on my drive home from work. It's simple and slick. And I agree with everyone else... Ted's quirky, but not bad at all. He gets excitable when the other team makes a big play, but his passion for the Monarchs is evident (and appreciated).

Or you can download the Tune-In Radio App look up ESPN 94.1 Yorktown. That's how I listen to road games.

Heck, if you listen to very many other teams' broadcasts, we are way better than a great many and I appreciate that. I listened to a W&M broadcast was evening and it sounded like it came from a couple guys out fishing on the York River!

I can't remember which broadcast it was a few years ago, but Ted made a comment addressing this. He said something to the effect that he tries to highlight great plays regardless of team, along with trying not to sugar coat the poor plays on our end.

Didn't know that. New way to listen at home since 94.1 is a little fuzzy sometimes inside the house (old house, thick plaster walls). Thanks for sharing.

If you want to hear 94.1 nice and clear just listen to it on-line. I open Google Chrome twice, with 94.1 playing in the background on one while I have the Lions Den on the other for real-time commentary. Works for me.

I've tried it on my phone and it never works. Just says "connecting to stream" or something but never connects. I'm going to try the app.

Tune In Radio is easily the best option

Man, I know I'm old school since all I do is walk into the dining room and "tune in" the radio to 94.1.

Tune in is nice because it is crystal clear, and also if you are watching a video feed and want to listen to Ted instead of the other team's announcer you can actually use the pause button on the app to get the video and audio synced up.

This is a must win.

Going to be tough...We need extra possessions because Charlotte is far more efficient offensively than us but the 49ers are also one of the best rebounding teams in the conference.

I'm not a huge fan of our "Trey, and everyone else" offense but he could score 35 points in this game with the mismatch and the need for ODU to score 70-75 points.

You beat me to it. Game is now final with a UNT upset. A win tonight can get us into fourth place with the win over Tech being the tie-breaker. This is one we have to have.
