Credit where do: Tulane football has had three perfect seasons. That's fairly impressive. But... yeah. Don't over inflate Tulane fan.

And I'm not sure how I feel about being the program that hands you a loss that results in a "we're the worst" thread. I mean, yay we won. But I think I should be insulted. But since Tulane is 2-10 all time vs Tulsa, it seems like I shouldn't be insulted. Like maybe the fan is just out of line.

People don't understand what has been going on the last 15 years. We had a completely incompetent president and AD who's incompetence was furthered by an athletics review and Katrina. We have a renewed commitment, new assets, new AD and new president. We just made a home run hire for football and our current AD oversaw Northern Iowa's athletic department which obviously included their top25 Bball program and he will be hiring a new coach within the next few months. Things will be getting much better very soon.

As for the two Tulane troll posters, sorry about that....

I hope they get things figured out. I would think that means a change. When I saw them live this year, it was pretty gross. It was like they expected to get killed from the opening tip.

Everyone thinks they made a home run hire after they make it. I'm not saying you didn't, as I haven't the foggiest idea who you guys hired, but you won't know if he's a home run until at least year 2. Trust me, UCONN fans thought the same thing in 2014 after Coach Diaco was hired.

What are you talking about? Diaco has been great for UCONN football. It was a complete rebuild job after PP tanked the program. To be bowl eligible in year 2 is either at or exceeding expectations...

Yes he has, but at the end of 2014 most UCONN fans I know were looking to string him up by his short hairs. The point being, that he's considered a home run hire NOW, but at the end of the previous season they wanted him gone yesterday.
