This is a very talented, young team. I believe Letcher-Ellis has huge upside. He's improved a ton already. When we get the injured guys back and the new recruits in, we will be a good and, maybe, very good team. And that's just next year. They are extremely well-coached.

Looks like a bunch of guys rediscovered their shooting strokes tonight. Let's hope they can keep it going at home for the next couple of games (though LaTech will of course be tough).

Towards the middle of the second half, this seemed like other teams in the past would have blown this game, but these guys just seem to have that intestinal fortitude and when they make a couple of sloppy, they keep battling and don't meltdown.

Stat of the game is we out-rebounded them after a terrible rebounding start. Letcher and Koulachov had important offensive put-backs in our nice 2nd half run when we put the game away. All in all, it was just one of the more enjoyable games at Rice I've seen in a long time. We played well. The halftime celebration honoring the 1970 SWC champs was well done, the crowd was good and loud, and it was just a fun time.

Way to go, guys!

Love how it feels like we always win the second half.

Wish I could have been there. Sounds like our best all-around shooting game of the season. Good to see Egor back in the groove. I only wish Bishop didn't go into his usual second half hibernation after hitting 3 - 3 in the first half. He really needs to start looking for his shot more rather than always looking to pass when he gets the ball rotated to him.

I believe they had to cover Mensa announcing new kicking tees for this coming year.

Enjoy the win MemOwl. We haven't had enough of them this year to be critical after our best effort of the season.
