Or even MAC West rival? I have the most dislike for EMU because we havent been winning in their building with twice as many fans. Especially in WBB, EMU has had some NWO talent on their team. Its a more satisfieng win than any IMO.

MBB has been losing to NIU more than we should in the past 3 years in basketball... They probably feel we're their biggest rivalry??

Who has followed MBB the longest to know who our oldest rivalry has been?

If EMU gets your blood up when we play them I guess it would be fair to say they are your rival. I think most Toledo people wouldn't have any idea who they are or where they are or have any reason to have any animosity towards or feeling of competition with them. There's probably some sentiment that wouldn't want to even be in the same conference with them. Same NIU.

BG is the only UT rival I've known in my days.

BG-yes! I go back at least to the Rockets upsetting #1 NYU in Madison Square Garden.

Rival=bg. Any sport, any time.

Besides BG then... For MBB there have not been many meaningful games in that history even if we hate the school. Neither have been to the NCAA tourney in ages.

UTF, just say "no." EMU is occasional eye-candy. Look but don't touch (and don't get caught looking). Not a rival for our emotions.
