Congrats. It was your night. Was waiting for your legs to go. Didn't happen. Enjoy.

Not sure if he saw any action but we were less likely to lose gas as we had Caleb White back that could rotate in and give others a breather.

RE: Let's hear it for ECU
This season really is shaping up the same as last.

Last year our 2 conference wins of note were Memphis and Cincy.
This year our 2 will be Memphis and Temple.

We'll finish with between 12 and 15 wins, and have 3-5 conference wins. Maybe win 1 tourny game. Same ole, same ole.

But, at least we can now watch Barkley grow up. That's gonna be fun.

Good game, Pirates. Please explain that strange, never-before-seen defensive alignment. It seemed as if the defenders were covering an area of the court, instead of covering another player. Innovation?

The announcers thought it was a cross between Boeheim's zones at Syracuse and Tarkanian's amoeba defenses at UNLV. The ECU version looks a lot better since Lebo finally has gotten the athletes to match-up on the wings, but he still needs at least one good low post defender to guard the rim. Any team that can get to the middle of the ECU defense is going to have an easy shot right at the elbow.

I think Lebo is feeling the pressure and actually trying to coach again. The thing is when he really is invested and tries I don't think he's a bad coach, but it's as if he is in neutral for most of the season until toward the end.

I think at a timeout with a whiteboard in his hand, and in coaching defense, Lebo is a very effective D1 head coach.

He struggles with lineups, and his recruiting strategies are headscratchers.

I would agree, and to be honest, I actually think he recruits wing men pretty well, unfortunately that's about all he recruits. Like I said though at the beginning of every season when they interview him, he is always so depressing almost downplaying our chances every season. I'm sorry but that's not how to inspire the fanbase or the school. I'm not saying promise something you can't deliver, but show some passion and set some goals for improvement, and for goodness sake set an OOC schedule that challenges the team so we can grow and get better. I just don't think we will ever get that from Lebo.

I think he was being sarcastic...maybe Dunphy doesn't play zones?? I don't know though
