I would assume so if the conference allows it. Then again, there may not be any left by the end of May. This is TXST after all.

So I assume the sales will be there and this is more of a test to make sure we don't act a fool at the stadium before they implement selling at football games. For the love of god I hope we pass lol.

Your alcohol related incidents will go down and it will be a cash cow.

Several years ago for a series against South Alabama (naturally) UL generated $100,000 in beer sales in one weekend.

$6...not that hard with 3 games with 3500-4000 people at each...especially if it's hot

Just a matter of time before this becomes the norm. It is counter-productive to not offer beer and wine sales to adults. I haven't seen any fights break out in the club and box seats.

Not offering it during games promotes binge drinking before games and people sneak in hard alcohol. If you sell it people know they can get it, so don't feel the need to do those things and you have people monitoring it when selling it and can cut wasted people off. People also drink a little more responsibly when they are $6/$8 beers

The caboose has a wet bar. I doubt they've ever had any issues getting what they wanted in there.

PS - Baseball starts the 19th. Are people hanging in the caboose between softball games?

Ah, well, would appreciate thoughts on what you see. Not hearing great things about the team right now.

It'll never be the norm here. We're dealing with strange Arkansas liquor laws preventing us from selling beer and wine, and they can only be overturned by a majority vote of the population of craighead county.

We'll always have to settle with our private club permit that allows football to sell in the press box only.

I might make it out to Bobcat Ballpark for the season opener vs. Wazzou. Looking forward to sampling the wares.

Watching the game and listening to the Cajuns on my smartphone at the same time could confuse me. And with a beer? Oh, Lord....
