Ya, you can tell the pressure is really starting to weigh on him. I am thinking he will jump at any decent offer he is extended, if he is extended one. And before anyone asks why he would walk away from Memphis and take a lower paying job, it could probably be negotiated so that Memphis makes up some difference despite him voluntarily leaving because it would be best for both parties...

Alford left Iowa for New Mexico.

It happens.

Pastner has a unique situation here. With his lack of buyout he won't leave on his on until at least his last two years on his contract. All those other guys like Alford, Purnell, Haith etc probably had low buyouts.

That little comment wasn't so nice. I'll turn the other cheek and just keep being positive to make me feel better

Hence why best case scenario is for him to leave on his own for a new job while Memphis supplements his income a bit, it is a win for both sides...

Thars just ridiculous. Josh won't be leaving with two years left on his contract because the big guys will see that his contract is extended. Just wait and see. He's got this program on the way up after being left with nothing from Cal.

Perhaps if you actually ever went to a game you would appreciate the dropoff and not make silly posts trying to equivocate a close to 30% drop over the past two years.

If he went to a game, I wonder how many seats he'd have to pay for?

RE: Attendance
The podcast interview with Calkins was downright bizarre. I don't think I've ever heard someone that deep in denial. He just kept repeating himself. I actually felt kinda sorry for him. The lack of attendance excuses offered because of the Grizz being hot right now and the great TV contract was just plain nuts.

This needs to be over quickly

You call it denial, I call it confidence. It's tough for some people to understand the difference.

Actually it's quite the opposite of confidence.

It took me a while at first but bravo dude. Trolling level 1000. I love it. I'm a fan now. LOL
