Id don't think he would say nice things about boneyard. I am a huge ECU fan, I feel intimated to post there, they have a group that feels entitled on that board. Rude, negative, and just I don't know off putting, I imagine many fans stay away for same reason. Arguments on there sometimes seem to get personal. Our fan base as a whole in my opinion is pretty good.

I could see that and I understand. Sometimes I have to take breaks from this board.

No one in Memphis goes to Graceland. Must be from Cincy.

I grew up 3 blocks behind Graceland, lived in the neighborhood before Elvis bought his place. I've never been inside the place.

We brought it back when Gameday hosted Temple and La Salle 2 years ago. It was fun.

Friends of the family had a house about three blocks away across from it and they never went either.

I've never been.

Never was an Elvis fan but I certainly enjoyed my visit to Graceland and then checking out the planes/cars across the street.

Sun Studios visit though was just flat out awesome.

Graceland is in the middle of a 95 million dollar redevelopment...in a year or so, it will be worth a re-visit.

That said, Beale st and Graceland are for tourists...Overton Square and Cooper-Young are where the Memphians go.

BTw, just a small shout out to the many considerate Memphis posters that go out of their way to give advice about their city. I know last year when I believed that I was traveling to Memphis, many offered valuable advice about affordable attractions.

I rarely post, and have never posted in any other team's board, but i find the culture of each fan base fascinating. Let's see if you agree with a few of these...

SMU: first impression? Smart. They will defend "the Godfather" to their graves. Happy to be in the spotlight. Mostly positive despite all the setbacks thrown their way.

Temple: Another knowledgeable fanbase. They love to talk about the Big 5, although few outside philly know what that is. About 70/30 on keep Fran / Fire Fran.

Tulsa: Small. Also found it odd that they are quick to fire Haith if any Mizzou baggage comes into their university. Most schools would say wins over everything.

UConn: The funniest of all fanbases. Watching them trade quips on Boneyard is pure gold. Instead of turning bitter like Cincy regarding the AAC, they find humor wherever possible.

Memphis: Their csnbbs board is on fire right now. They are also the most passionate fanbase in the AAC by far. They believe they are sending a message by "only" selling 11,000 seats to their bball games...think about that.... Also, angry...so angry. 90/10 believe Pastner must go, and im not convinced that the 10% who support "JP" are not just trolls trying to spark a backlash.

Cincy: Obsessed with conference re-alignment and bitter. They know their days in the football limelight are over. The most negative fans in the conference (I'm an alum of Cincy and a diehard btw). Had to delete my Twitter because the negative spewing was SO strong.

Houston: They like to trash talk other teams more than any other fanbase so far. They are oblivious that they have a basketball program and need to get on board imo...KS will have them in NCAA/NIT next season.

Did you see that he left out East Carolina? Obviously, on purpose and knowing the wrath of Hell from her fans is coming. He will let ECU fans speak for themselves. 04-cheers

LetsGoUC = Bearcat Bounce

When he referred to UC Football fans as "they" he gave himself away.

He is a UC hoops fan (actually only UC HUGGINS fan, not even really a current UC bball fan) and he hates the football team.

Yep, I posted the exact same thing yesterday in a different thread, it keeps coming back to spew the same nonsense over and over. Quite a life it must lead.

Spot on. Cooper-Young was my go-to when I lived in Midtown.
