Great! Well-earned, I believe. Interesting to see Mercer, too. Chattanooga, ETSU, and Mercer have represented the SoCon well so far - excusing a couple bad losses by ETSU.

How is Wilmington only getting 4 votes. They are 14-5.

The Bucs are likely getting some love from Voting Panel member (and Coach Forbes' old boss), Wichita State Head Coach, Gregg Marshall.

I thought Wilmington looked GOOD against us. I think they'll win their conference and maybe squeak in a dance win.

Nope. No additional love whatsoever. Still only 4 points. Chattanooga certainly moved up, however, to #9.

Chattanooga will be awfully bitter when they don't go dancing. They've gotten lots of polish to their dancing shoes only to scuff them on losses in conference and waning play.

A potential March Madness bracket I saw last night, had UTC as a 13 seed playing against Duke in the first round. If that happens, I'll be wearing some blue and gold and cheering on the Mocs!

I really want us to plow through the tournament this weekend and beat the Mocs. However, if we don't pull that off, I'd be very proud to have the SoCon represented by them this year. I'm not sure I'd feel the same about other teams.

No matter - the Bucs have a chance to dance this year! There were times this season that I had my doubts they'd be at this level in March, but they came a long way. I'm really excited for this weekend.

Last night in Boone, (now 8-22) App. St. knocked off (now 27-4) UALR, the #3 ranked mid-major, 69-63, outrebounding them by 12. Going in, UALR had the fewest losses of all mid-majors. Wow.
