Thanks for Ge'Lawn!
Not sure how many of you have been following Ge'Lawn Guyn at ETSU this year but I just wanted to stop by and say that we are very happy to have him.

So far he has two game winning shots for us (one of them against Georgia Tech) and he also hit a shot to send a game into overtime which we ended up winning. The guy plays with great intensity and has to be the most clutch player we've had in the last 15 years.

Thanks to him ETSU is tied for 1st place in the Socon.

Thrilled for GeLawn and hoping ETSU makes the NCAA tournament this year. They'll be my second favorite team in it if they do.

Wow, I just looked up his stats and he's averaging 17 and shooting 40% from 3. Can't believe that's the same G Lawn

Spot on Mark.

I remember threads earlier discussing the GT game winner and other big nights. Quite the success story.

It's now obvious how much the injuries affected him the last couple years.

Or the lack of offensive coaching

Scored 22 against Tennessee and 24 against Georgia Tech...when did they start playing in the SoCon?

Glad he found a home that is working for him. He was a great defender here but didn't show anything on offense. Or maybe it was/is our system. Who knows anymore. I always like him.

You might be surprised how many are keeping tabs on him.

It really is great for you guys and Ge'Lawn - really glad things worked out so well for him.

Glad to hear Ge'Lawn is succeeding. Most Bearcat fans want to see him excel since he will always be a Bearcat and always played with all he had.

Clutch shooter, do we know any coach who needs one of those?

The same people criticizing Cronin in this thread would have been calling for his head when Ge'Lawn was questioned by the police after a shooting in August if he were still on the team

Another crazy Ge'Lawn stat that I just learned today. He leads ETSU in blocked shots and is 4th in the Southern conference in blocked shots. At 6'2 there are only two other guys he is taller than, he even has more blocked shots than our 7 footer.

He has long arms and serious hops. I'm not shocked but that's still an incredible stat.
