Yes it did and I knew I didn't respond in it because I didn't like it at all.. I knew I would get bashed if I did say something.. Not long after that I have pretty much spoke my mind about him!!

A stud like you is worried about being bashed on a computer screen? I don't believe it. Live a little, step out once and awhile, take a chance. You're strong.

Naw I'd rather talk in person but I appreciate the compliment, from one stud to another?

I've been that 5% since 2011. Damn I hate being right sometimes. ?

same here

I've had my doubts since 09-10 when we lost to SMU. Started to have real misgivings when the 10-11 recruits and Spoon all seemed to stumble and never really got on track, which were amplified when the same thing happened with Adonis in 11-12. Was about to jump off the boat completely after Atlantis in 12-13 when we fell out of the rankings for the third straight year in a row. We ended up doing well enough that I kept a tentative foot in the boat even though I felt that year was a huge wasted opportunity despite the 30 wins.

Was officialy done with Pastner after the Oklahoma State loss at the start of 13-14, which along with the Michigan State game in the tournament the prior year made it perfectly clear (to me at least) that whatever was going on in the program just wasn't going to get fixed, and that things were more likely to get worse than better.

hindsight is always 20/20. I also don't think the auto renewal was widely known.

The auto renewal on FIRST two years is the most asinine thing I've seen in sports contracts.

Correct...as Calkins and Parrish were some of the biggest cheerleaders of that contract extension...but now both are trying to say it was a "bad deal".

(In a discussion on how nice of a guy Pastner is which, according to Calkins' took away the respect he deserved for being a good basketball head coach):

"I would have extended him if he was a total jack-a$$ for what he has done with the program."

That's Calkins' play when the worm turns (see Larry Porter).

Calkins speaks the truth. And nobody here knew about the auto renewal of the no buyout clause. But keep on with your agenda. It's becoming more comical every day

Lost respect for Calkins with the Larry Porter hiring and firing. It's one thing to pick a side as a columnist. It's another to hypocritically criticize the school and coach after you reverse your side 2 years later.

Keep tilting at windmills - looking for my agenda. All it involves is 100% fandom for my alma mater.
