SBC players in the East-West Shrine Game
Did anyone else watch the Shrine game yesterday? I caught the second half hoping to see former TXST CB David Mims make some plays but I never noticed him on the field. I saw Griswold from stAte and a safety from GS play though. Neither really did anything while I watched.

Anybody see anything I missed?

I watched until the last 5 minutes. Mims never saw the field in that time. The coaches seemed to have a core of players that went the whole game or played until at least the 4th. Was a disappointment over last year when they tried to get as many on the field as was possible.

Griswold did well, I thought.

Gris was open all day but the awful Wisconsin and UMass kept throwing bad passes to covered receivers.

I didn't watch the game and can't find any defensive stats, but judging by this picture Antwione Williams saw some action in the game.

He was open all season too.
You couldn't pay me enough to play TE. they do their jobs perfectly, and hardly ever get rewarded for it.
