Playing with NBA Trade Machine: Give Up Green & Lee for Redick and Asik?
Grizz Send Lee to Clippers & Green to Pelicans
Grizz Receive Asik & Redick

Pelicans Send Asik to Grizz & Gee to Clippers
Pelicans Receive Green

Clippers Send Redick to Grizz
Clippers Receive Lee & Gee

Grizz make a last ditch effort to go all-in before blowing team up.
Pelicans shed Asik medium value, long term deal and acquire expiring contract freeing up a nice chunk of cap space.
Clippers shed Redick's 2 year deal and acquire Lee's expiring contract, freeing up cap space.

If only I was Robert Pera.

Anyone else have daydreaming a possible trade deadline deal?

The salary cap is about to jump so I don't think the Clippers would trade Reddick just for the expiring contract

What???

Redick is playing awesome right now, he is shooting 50% from three and from the field and essentially carrying their outside offense. This is insane. The Clippers in no way would send Redick anywhere for anything remotely in this package. It would be a mammoth downgrade. I'm sure the Pelicans would love to unload Asik because he sucks and so do they but this is in no way a realistic trade

IMHO, no way Clips get rid of Redick, especially for Lee & Gee... & I don't want Asik with his terrible, awful, no good contract.

I'm interested to see what this team can do at the deadline, if anything...

To me, it doesn't look like we have much to offer teams. Jeff Green and Courtney Lee, but who could we get in return that are upgrades? I don't know...but this GM has done a good job as of late when it comes to making masterful trades (Barnes & Chalmers)

Maybe Jeff Green to LAL for Nick Young & Ryan Kelly.

Lakers looking to move Swaggy P and those 2 could provide some shooting.

Or Jeff Green and J. Martin to CHI for Taj Gibson & Mike Dunleavy.

Bulls looking to move front court players to allow for increased minutes for Bobby Portis. Would allow them to get off longer deals for expiring contracts and have more cap for FA

I am beginning to wonder if we may improve just by trading Jeff, no matter what we get in return. I think part of our "identity crisis" is due to the fact that we don't know what we will get from Jeff from game to game.

That's Jeff's whole career in a nutshell IMO. I remember when the Grizz got him Bill Simmons tweeted something like, "he'll get 28/15/7 one night then 3/1/3 the next and you just gotta hope his good games show up in the big ones..."
