Stepping it UP
Ok folks...clearly one of us is going to have to take this into our own hands to salvage the year.

With the Memphis game as the spring board it is time for what will heretofore be known as "the run" in Cincinnati basketball lore.

And to kick it off and bring the mojo info full force I have taken my CTT sig down and evoked our logo from the programs glory days....

You can all thank me after the season.

I dig it Brother. Our backs are against the tournament wall. Let's circle the wagons and defend our honor. Time for the Cats to rip, tear and disembowel the opponent. Ok, I'll settle for steppin' it UP. Just win baby! One game at a time.

RE: Stepping it UP
I'm with you. The difference between this year being a disappointment and being a top 20 team is just one more shot made or one more stop in 3 games.

I remember the Logan/Satterfield team that struggled in close games but learned how to finish at the end and went to the sweet 16. If we can get hot we could go even further this year due to no dominant teams. Ideally you want to avoid the 8-9 game but even if we ended up there there's no Kentucky, Dukes, or Wisconsin's from last year. All three of those teams would be significant favorites this year.

The Feb. 4-9 timeframe bothers me, not who we play but where, travel and game times. Could be an upset in there, hope not.

This team has Clark/Ellis/Deberry...I like our inside game.

Caupain: If he can keep up what he did vs Memphis -look out

Cobb: Will be Cobb...some nights 25pts, some nights 2pts

ANYTHING Evans can give us is a plus.

The wildcard: Shaq
But hanging your hat on him is like leaning on a broken reed. Wouldnt it be something if he could do what he did vs Memphis every game here on out!?

The Bag...we overused it and it grew too weak. But it is well rested now. I will hold for our March run (if needed).

And if that fails, we can have Duane wear the bag and sacrifice him. That should make the bag unstoppable. :)
