The reason we did not see Nick in the second half is because Lawson finally decided to get down into the paint where he should have been all game and got easy close in baskets. Took only one 3 point shot in second half and played to his strength. But 40% of his shots in first half was from beyond the 3 and missed them all.

Wish the college box scores had the + and - points beside the player. Would make breaking down the stats even more precise. Even without them braking down this game especially the first half is telling.

Half of the coaches in my church league could school Josh. He's a joke, and he has turned our program into one as well.

Just got in from a little road trip. Couldn't find the game on XM, but I figured no big deal, it's just ECU. I expected a win along the lines of most of this one-step forward one-step backward season.

But I really didn't expect to login here and find a loss. Good grief, great scott, what can a fan say?

Surely this season is the end for JP. Imho it's worse than the Tulane loss. At least we had beat them for some umpteen games straight and you could say every dog has its day.

Edit--and didn't we lose to ECU last year in Greenville?

Unless mutually negotiated otherwise, if Paz gets fires he just keeps getting his full paycheck for 4 more years. There's no lump sum payment; he just keeps getting paid. The rest of this season and the next 4 are already spent money. What's missing is the money to simultaneously pay the next guy......

Simple! You demote him to lead recruiter and make someone else head coach. There certainly IS enough money to offer one of the assistants more money for the next three or four years. I guarantee you it wouldn't take much.

Do you really think Pastner would stay?? He'd be completely humiliated and the longer he stayed in his demoted capacity he would be less and less a potential commodity for another team. He most certainly would agree to a buyout.

Even if he didn't, he'd have all his time to recruit for Memphis. He's had success in that capacity.

How could you guarantee that he'd be recruiting for Memphis? Cal has already said there would always be a spot for him at Kentucky...and together they could both hose Memphis one more time.

Sure, we locked them up for some other schools. Pastner can still recruit, just not for us any longer. Sad.
