How To Piss Off and Alienate People
Post on Facebook and Twitter how amazed you are that children, people, dogs play in snow. That people shovel their walks and driveways. That cars get stuck or slide on ice because no one else in the history of mankind has ever done so.

Also, don't forget to comment on every one of the 600 photos of said kids they are posting today; lest they get mad because you don't care about them and theirs.

I mean, no kids in the history of mankind has ever done in the snow what their kid is doing so we need to save these photos and send them to the Smithsonian for posterity.

Make sure you remind them to have fresh batteries for their digital cameras and/or keep their phone charged so they don't miss even one step their kid takes in the snow.

Where are you originally from, Catmom?

It's a big deal when it snows in the south. Heck 2 inches of snow and the entire city of Atlanta is paralyzed with people spending the night in Wal Marts and Office Depots.

I'm from a (what used to be) one horse town in southern NJ. Okay, so it's still not a big place but compared to what it was when I was growing up it's huge.

Been through many a big snow storm. Got my license the day after a blizzard (I'm a December baby). One year my BIL had to come with a front end loader and dig out our driveway so we could go to work. My street, where I grew up, was one of the last they would get to after storms.

The point I'm making is that young people I know (mainly relatives) post every move their kids make like no one else ever did it. It's a new chapter in the history of mankind that the world can't be deprived of sharing in. Even my daughter does it. It's like they have a camera continuously pointed at their kids. Drives me nuts.
