We nearly lost the game at the free throw line the other night. I don't know what's happened to our free throw shooting lately. Thankfully our three point shooting overcame our horrible down the stretch shooting from the free throw line. We can't count on that happening very often.
We have to make free throws when the game is one the line. You can't really simulate the nerves in practice. Maybe we'll get better as our players are put in that position more often. I wonder if we'd have missed those free throws if we had been playing at home? Could the crowd have influenced those misses? But we won in spite of it. That's the amazing thing about this team. Good game or bad game, most of the time they've found a way to win. I'm not smart enough to figure it out. I'll just enjoy it.

Better to make them before the game is on the line, and then maybe it doesn't go on the line.

I have no idea why, but our overall FT shooting has really tanked from what it was at the first of the season.
