I know right! But you might want to try not to pull a piece of my comment out and take it out of context. My content was in direct response to his. About our history. You Marshall fans! Always trying to make something more than its not.

ECU in 2001 had 21 of 22 starters that was a NQer at 1 time, Marshall has never had that many as starters.

I thought the AAC policy is no non-qualifiers

It is. Like I stated earlier Herdzoned continues to carry this lie like a wart.

Good for him. Seems that rarely happens once the big programs pass kids over for grades.

ECU wasn't in the AAC in 2001.

ECU Conference Affiliations:
1932-1946 Independent
1947-1960 North State Conference
1961-1961 Carolinas Conference
1962-1964 Independent
1965-1976 Southern Conference
1977-1977 Division I Independent
1978-1996 Division I-A Independent
1997-2013 Conference USA
2014-20XX American Athletic Conference

The time period 2001 ECU was in CUSA and coached by Steve Logan. In late 2003 Terry Holland out right banned NQers for ECU unless they are from the state of NC. It was his way of letting ECU stand in the corner and jump up and down and scream "PICK ME, PICK ME" for one of the new open spots in the watered down BE. It didn't happen then.

You are flat out wrong. Dayon Arrington (former ECU WR) is proof that you are flat out wrong. Oh yeah - Terry Holland wasn't at ECU in "late 2003". But nice try though.

What is an "APR exempt" school ?

I've heard that term thrown around in the past

Point is he passed his entrance exam, he is ecstatic to be part of the Herd, and 90% of the people in this thread can suck it.

And the roster comes out and I see we picked up Brandon Drayton, a talented 3 star 6'2" safety who didn't sign with us back in February. Oh, and a WR transfer from The U. Sweet.
