UNCW-Postpone or not postpone
While all of the other City 6 teams have postponed their games for Saturday, my guess at this point is that Drexel will still play the dub on Saturday in front of an empty house. In 25 years of following Drexel Basketball, Drexel has never postponed a home game due to snow. I'm sure that contingency plans will be in place to make sure that officials and game day management are in town in Friday night.
The students on campus who are still interested in watching bad basketball will be able to make the game. And to the season ticket holders who don't live on campus....they'll probably compensate them with free tickets to a future game that they already have tickets for.

They should not have postponed the game. It would have been empty regardless, no need to extend our wait for losses.

The only way they could play tonight is if all players, refs, game management were in University City Friday night, and they tell fans not to drive to the game. Last thing you need is fans getting stuck or injured trying to get there. Problem is that the cleanup in the area is going to take much of the day on Sunday, so it's going to be really tough for most fans to make a noon game on Sunday anyway. UNCW bussed up here on Friday, so it would really really suck for them if the game isn't played at some point this weekend.

RE: UNCW-Postpone or not postpone
Attendance on the boxscore was listed at 332, which I'm pretty sure is an all time low in the JB era, which dates back to 1991-92. Now I wonder if the 332 is just the number of people who showed up yesterday, or if that includes tickets sold, including season ticket holders who couldn't make it. When I was watching the game and they panned over the West stands, I think I saw less than 10 people total sitting on that side.

I was not there, obviously, but MetSox said he counted 74 people in attendance, so the number 332 has to be paying ticket sales.

And I'll bet they still didn't let students or DAC Pack members sit in chairbacks.
