As far as college football is concerned and soon to be CBB. There is the power 5 and there is everyone else. the MAC is basically FCS at this point.

The University of Houston could be good enough next year to not only grab the access spot but to also make some noise for the playoff.

Yep. Access bowl is based on their rankings

So...yes having a rep who is from the MAC being a member of this is a good thing for the MAC.

Still would have been better if we had Novak in there. He should be on this committee.
