UCF get commit from Frost #1 QB target
Coach Frost gets his QB from Hawaii. Looks like a great fit for the offense he wants to run. Mariotta part 2 hopefully

RE: UCF get commit from Frost #1 QB target
Glad Frost got his guy in this class as I think Frost will sign 2 QB's in next year's class as that will be the first class of 25 for UCF in 5 years or so...as Frost needs to build a stable of his style of QB...as you generally need 3 or 4 QB's in your system to find the right one.

Milton will still need to hit the weights hard...as maybe the injury he suffered during his Senior Year hurt his weight conditioning prep..so a redshirt year in 2016 might be beneficial for him.

It's going to be an interesting battle for the QB position between Holman, Kruz, and Milton.

At 5-11 185? Best you can hope for is Greg Ward part 2.

Or Godfrey part 2... which I'll take a Conference Championship with a bowl win over an SEC team... hell I'll take a bowl win over a sun belt team after 0-12... I might even be OK with a bowl loss to a sun belt team after 0-12.

Greg Ward part 2 is rare air. He is on a lot of Heisman lists.

I think you're seeing the 'prototype' in college being modified somewhat, as offenses are evolving. Pro-size measurables aren't always required or desired.

5-11 or 6-0 is fine for a mobile spread guy. See Greg Ward. Also see Quinton Flowers for USF.

QB is the #1 priority for UCF and Frost. If he ends up being the guy, he'll speed up your improvement process tremendously.

The guy's film is pretty impressive.

well Ward just went 12-1 and possibly undefeated if he never got hurt.

Milton's running is impressive, very elusive.

He needs to put on about 20 pounds though

I like that it looks like he's running the zone read in HS. Shorter learning curve.

RE: UCF get commit from Frost #1 QB target
im not sure he was your #1 qb target that might have been franks...but good pick up for the system ..i wouldnt be shocked to see another qb added with the large amount of qb offers he put out

but this qb looks to be perfect for frost..when i saw his size i was thinking he was a manziel, maybe a ward type of player with his stats....but watching his film he is a smaller mariota...i honestly think his high school ran the oregon offense....if he had the body for it id say he could start next year...
but the kid is kinda frail and needs to add about 20lbs id be shocked if he isnt redshirted

time will tell how it works out but it should be fun to watch

spreading it out and letting the QB run is fun to watch compared to playing in phone booth(unless you have Bortles)

Franks was never coming to UCF even though his brother plays WR here.

yeah but Franks was a pipedream

Not sure you realize how tough a job Frost walked into. 0-12 with perception at the lowest point in a decade, only 6 commits under GOL w one that flipped to Troy of all places, and all the negative recruiting bc of that. He's done a great job on the recruiting trail given the circumstances so far.

Herman in comparison last year walked into a bowl team that just let a few games slip away from playing for a Conference Title.
