Loeb to give Highland Strip the Overton treatment

They are 2 head shops in that area from what I recall. You could see our student athletes coming in and out of whatever before spice was made illegal in TN

Whatever was in the building with the Chinese sub shop for years and years - the building had been demolished and whatever moved. The other head shop opened up in the mid 2000s - they were in the news for being busted by the sheriffs department. Didn't pay attention last time I was in the neighborhood to see if they were still there.

On a related note, loeb had been waiting for years to acquire Newbys - it was the missing piece of their redevelopment plan.

I think everyone who ever went to the UofM lived on spotswood, carnes, kearney, douglas, etc at one time or another.

yea..no kidding . The ones I knew are still lively, but they moved from Memphis years ago.

There were 2 houses in that neighborhood (either byntun or normal station) a couple of years ago where folks had connected them through an underground tunnel and had a massive weed growing operation.
