Lordy, this guy pops up every year or two. Can his a**

A while back he was asked to take down pictures of the twin towers burning in his office. If this doesn't get him removed, KSU is in for a major PR headache

It's very difficult to get rid of a tenured professor, but there's going to be a lot of heat on this one. I'll bet some Republican presidential candidates will jump on it.

So what did he do? I see nothing in that link. Being investigated is neither a crime nor worthy of job sanctions. I wish I had more confidence in who or why the FBI sometimes investigates.

And I know nothing about this guy or any of his previous issues. I hope the truth comes out.

He gets to keep working while he's being investigated? Yet we have a wrestler get kicked off the team and out of school for a harmless tweet from his personal account?

Prez Warren says the guy is reprehensible. Good enough for me. Run him.

I am sure if he tweeted what the wrestler did he'd be gone too. The above is only a potential federal crime. No big deal.

He's done things like shout out death to Isreal during campus events etc. etc.

RE: KSU Professor being investigated for recruiting students to ISIS
He shouldn't be fired over being investigated by the FBI. The government has a responsibility to protect its citizens, but it doesn't imply the professor is guilty until that is proven in a court of law and we're not even to the point where formal accusations have been made (i.e., charges have been filed). It's all rumor and innuendo at this point.

That said, I personally am tired of the largest product of tenure being a free pass to act like an ass, which this professor has done in the past. If that's all the university gets out of tenure, then we'd be better off drumming it out of the system.

I didn't see that. All I saw was that President Warren said what Pino said was reprehensible, which I assumed was his past comments. Didn't know he was making new fun ones.

Honestly, I don't have a problem with firing him because he's an idiot, but I do have a problem if he is fired because he is being investigated for an alleged crime.
