There's is no marketing effort in the world that would ever make this game relevant outside NW Ohio. And why didn't they choose 25? The I-75 is so manufactured it's droll and the trophy is butt-ugly and it's sponsored by a non NWO (Kia) based product. It doesn't have any reasoning behind it at all. At least rt 25 is relatively local.

I don't think there is any reason to give the rivalry or any game that's part of it any obviously connected name at all but most certainly not a created, non-organic one. The Peace Pipe had a history. rt 25 actually connects the two communities and has for the duration of the rivalry. A name if given should be descriptive of the unique passion.

Call it "The Dixie." That'll really baffle em.

They could play it at the roller rink. That place had high ceilings and held more than Stroh Center.

Never went to the Dixie. I was a Rainbow Acres guy as a kid.
