I get so sick of these Pirate fans that continue to go on and on about needing to be in the Big East. What would that do for us? The only positive I see for it would be the BCS $$$. That's it. It would be a horrible move for our Baseball. Our Basketball would not improve.

Let's face it, the Big East is a basketball first league, and we will never be a basketball first school.

If we were in the Big East, and the BCS were to dissolve, what would we have? We would be in a conference with a bunch of North East Schools that we have NOTHING in common with.

I will support ECU wherever we end up, but I really hope we don't move to the Big East. :ecu: 05-mafia :ecu:

To our fanbase as a whole, the teams in the Big East in its entirety are more attractive than in C-USA.

After the NC and Tidewater region, the Northeast US is the 2nd highest concentration of ECU alumni and incoming students.

To me, the BcS notion is irrelevant. I don't dislike C-USA, but as an East Coast'er, I identify with Big East schools more so than a lot of C-USA schools (even if a vast majority of them are yankee schools).
