Haha right. Doom and gloom all day.

With that being said, we are not significantly improved on the road this year. Improved, for sure. Significantly, not at all.

We did close out the regular season last year with two road losses, at FIU and FAU. Three weeks earlier we lost on the road at North Texas and Rice.

Who cares? We have improved in the road and that's all that matters. Last year we lost these games. This year we are winning them including a couple blow outs and another double digit win. I'm good with that. The other teams are trying to win as well. In case folks have not noticed it's difficult to win on the road. Just scroll the national scored today.

Everyone concerned about us not closing out games needs to remember that befor this road trip, we had six straight double digit wins.

Yeah, Auburn won courtesy of more home cooking.

It's always tough to win on the road. Last season UAB won three road games. Three! UAB just got numbers 4 and 5 this season, with seven more road games to go.

Find it hard to muster sympathy for the opponent since it is Calipari.

RE: Charlotte Game Thread
I think it's clear were better on the road this year than last. We've won more games on the road 18 games in than we did all of last season. We broke a 32 game home win streak. We haven't looked great doing it, and needed near miracles to hold onto the last two games. However, they are still wins..

This was a weird game. It felt like we should be winning by 20+. We were clearly the superior team for the vast majority of the game. I felt like we got nervous and choked quite a bit against ODU. We didn't handle their pressure well and when it got loud in there we had two terrible, mind boggling turnovers. Against Charlotte, we didn't do that. Our shots started rimming out, and Charlotte caught fire. A strange game for sure. We also gave their big man two and-ones on very soft fouls near the basket- one of my biggest pet peeves in basketball. Either foul hard enough to ensure a missed shot, or don't risk the and one..

Scott is a really good player. I think Charlotte will be improvIng quickly soon.

We are +42 and 5-1 on the road this season so far.

We were -54 and 3-8 last season

I believe my math is correct. Even if I'm off by one or two, it's pretty easy to see the difference.

How about conference play?
