I wished they have cancelled the Simpsons years ago and instead focused on some of the other characters more intensely. There's literally dozens of characters they could focus on more. Some shows/concepts I'd like to see them focus on:

-Maggie Goes to College (instead of her as just a mute baby, they could give her a speaking role and a whole new cast of characters to learn and develop with).

-Moe's Tavern

-Chief Wiggum and the police (too many funny stories could be told). They could also parody the show Cops.

-Rainer Wolfcastle

-Mr. Burns

-Comic Book Guy

-Krusty the Clown

Fat Tony would also be great.

How about following Groundskeeper Willie back to Scotland?

That would be a great cartoon spoof of a number of med shows.
