I went to UCF in their hospitality campus a few miles down the road and it's great to see the young enthusiasm and excitement of a new cast member / CP before they slowly crash and burn out and loath everything about it. But seriously, I hope you enjoy it, good luck!
Universal needs land, though. They've shown they can do stuff right (see Harry Potter and even Simpsons), but overall, they are cramped bad. I know they are doing some land purchases, but given their location, they will never have the flexibility Disney has been able to enjoy.
Disney is just so much more polished and immersive. And I'm not even much of a Disney fan. I actually do prefer Universal as a whole. Individual parks, though, Epcot by a mile. That could be due to the food and alcohol, but meh, it's just a great park.
Rosen College is stunning, btw.

One of the main reason why Walt bought up so much land in Orlando was because of something that happened at Disneyland in California he didn't like.
When Walt built Disneyland in 1955, he built it in the middle of Orange Groves (basically in the middle of no where), but he couldn't predict that other businesses would soon build right next to her theme park (from fast food places, not so great hotels, etc..), some which he could see from some of the rides in the park.
So when designing Disney World, Walt purposes selected a spot approx 10 miles from the Interstate to build the Magic Kingdom...as he wanted the park to be an escape..he didn't want to see a McDonalds or a Holiday Inn just outside Adventureland.
Thats why Walt's partners "quietly" bought up almost 40 square miles of land in way South Orlando by the Orange County/Osceola County line...and he put the Magic Kingdom in a far corner of those 29,000 acres.
