Game on right know at the bar I'm at. Great broadcast! I don't like our 530pm start time but the exposure is well worth it.

Its a low profile channel, but they do a good job with the broadcast. It is not worth the opportunity lost to get people back supporting the team though, not even close.

It is an eye opener to see how much more support Toledo gets than us with bball

You forget that people can watch the game on TV and become fans and or decide to come to a future game. Yes more people would be there on Saturday but that doesn't mean that they will attend another game. TV will reach more people.

530pm on a channel no one knows exists? I just don't see it If people are not going to come to the game, they are not going to take off work early and find it on a channel they don't know exists anyway

Do you not know that people locally, suburbs and Chicago will be in bars Friday at 5:30-8? Not many live sports happening at that time. Many will not intend on watching it but will stumble across it one way or another. People may not look for it but find and see only the second half. Also, NIU will get students at this game.

There wont be 800 people at the game versus if it was Saturday, there would have been over 3000. Just not worth it

This game got moved from Saturday to Friday for TV , yet attendance was still 5,130 keeping in mind that all luxury suites, loges, and the Grogan Club room are always sold out so that always helps. Not bad!

Haha, trust me I know it's true. I live in DFW and even UNT's luxury boxes for both football and bball are sold out for the entirety of the season and they are terrible at both of those sports.

I wish we were as awesome at everything as Toledo.

Usually being better at sports equates to more butts in the seats so hopefully that picks up fast for the men's team at NIU because they are having a nice year so far! Nothing like winning to bring back the excitement!
