Watching these guys work social media is getting me pumped.

Far more exciting group than Fran's

Graduate assistants will not change mid-year. They will likely be different in the fall but that would likely also have been the case if Fran was back. GA's rarely stay for 2 years.

We had a couple GA's last year who had been here for 3 years, which is the max you can be a GA.

San Francisco 49ers: Per source, Texas State defensive line coach Vince Oghobaase will join the 49ers staff. It’s the third move this offseason for Oghobaase, who was a graduate assistant at Ohio State the last two seasons, became the defensive line coach at James Madison and followed Everett Withers to Texas State in the same role.

Get use to it with EW's staff. Elliott will be next. Withers has an eye for young up and coming coaching talent but the problem is they're often just passing through onto their next stop.

Did Withers take every single coach from JMU with him????? It looks like JMU got picked to shreds...

There were 6 "direct hires" from the 2015 staff. Santucci and Oghobaase were just hired and followed Withers to TXST. (So 6/8 depending how you want to look at it)

He just hired (back) Antoine Smith* to replace Oghobaase; who was fired by Withers in December and replaced with Oghobaase (I included him in that 6/8)

From what we have gathered, he kept 3 from our staff (excluding GAs, equip, trainers). One works in recruiting and the other 2 were placed in operations.

Come on now . . . If Fran had taken the HC Gig at JMU, and not "retired" (wink, wink). . . . He'd have brought half, or more, of his staff from TX ST .. . .
