Congrats Ponies!! Doing that with a limited roster is very impressive. You're one of the biggest stories so far this basketball season.

Does this season actually count at all, or have all of these games already been vacated? I can't remember what happened when UConn was in the same boat a few years back.

I equate this SMU team and run to what Ohio State did a few years ago in football when it was unbeaten but couldn't play in the national championship. I hope SMU goes unbeaten, because it will pretty much put an asterisk on whoever wins and be talked about during the NCAA tourney.

What really sucks is the American can't earn tourney credits (revenue) from this SMU team...but you have programs like UNC that continue to delay its probation until its team is not as good and is earning revenue for its league.

Just postseason probation...and usually means they cant play in the conference tournament. The regular season counts...all of its players are eligible.

UConn wasn't under sanctions though. It was the stupid APR thing that everyone else is gaming and lying about.

If you take the academic cheating scandals at places like Syracuse and apply them to APR, they would be banned every year.
