So, after touting the Rockets great national rankings in shooting percentages, they respond with 11-18 from the FT line and 2-15 from 3. Last time I do that before the start of a game.

Harris and Harriott combined 7-30 today. Yikes.

Rebounding improved from recent games, mostly thanks to McIntyre's 11.

Great to get the win, but this was a painful game to watch and I will not be watching the replay on this one.

Kaayla's had a couple nice back-to-back games. Nice to see.

I was just looking at the schedule and the conference standings. I get the impression that they can compete with and beat the middle of the pack teams. They could conceivably have a nice little run going before the have to play the top teams i.e., Buffalo, Ohio, Central, and BSU again. They'll get plenty of practice in before they face Buffalo on 2/10. It's going to be interesting.

Janice got just beaten up tonight by the other team and her play. She looked like she was going to have trouble getting to the locker room. Just so physical

Here's a link to the game story on the UT site. Up next: the Rockets host Northern Illinois on Saturday afternoon (I think that's another game that I will miss). 03-banghead

Gutsy win on a night when we couldn't make a shot. Bravo-Harriott really had a tough night. I'm so glad that McIntyre is finally getting some minutes. She's really a force on the boards. I agree with the earlier post that her last foul was not a foul, and that defensive play should have sealed the game. Now that Cullop is playing McIntyre, I'd like to see us try to get her the ball in the post. Yes, as mentioned earlier, this was a painful game, but it would have been a whole lot more painful if the result had been different.
