Men's Basketball Tickets
I was looking at getting tickets for either Akron or WMU in February and almost all lower bowl seats are gone for the same. With a ton of empty seats during the broadcasts are there really that many season tickets that get unused? The seat map for Akron and WMU tickets are essentially the same.

Did you call the ticket office or check Ticketmaster?

I would always call the NIU ticket office.

Ticketmaster. That's fine I guess for diehards to call the ticket office, but wouldn't the casual fan just get turned off when seeing no good tickets available?

Yes but I doubt that more than 10 buy tickets on TM.

Not all the seats are gone. They only release partial portions of the stadium for a bit. As you get 2 weeks closer to the even the rest (really good seats) will open up.

Shouldn't it be the other way around?

Only if people actually bought tickets.

Yes and donors who call up the HAF office asking for "good" tickets.
