Didn't he get fired at Mizzou? And he lands a gig at Oregon as QB coach. How the heck did he manage to do that?

Resigned from Missouri, took a year or two off, QB coach at Washington St.

Resigned and had considerable success at his last major DI posting at conference foe Wash. St, particularly at receiver's coach. Oregon probably figured to kill two birds with one stone. Pretty good pedigree under Pinkel and Leach.
