Armed Group Says It Has Accessed Government Files at Refuge
Quote:Bundy said the documents would also help secure the release of Steven and Dwight Hammond, two area ranchers convicted of arson who returned to prison last week to serve longer sentences. The Hammonds' case set off the occupation of the Burns-area refuge on Jan. 2.

Quote:Sixteen full time employees and one part time employee usually work at the refuge, Holm said. Some who can't work away from the refuge have taken administrative leave, while others are working from home or another office.

Quote:Harney County Sheriff Dave Ward said at a community meeting Monday night that members of the armed group have been harassing law enforcement officers and U.S. Fish and Wildlife employees as they go about their business in the community.

He said officers and employees have reported being followed to their homes and observed while inside and that self-identified "militia members" have tried to engage them in debates about their status as federal employees.

Don't these bums have something better to do than harass and block people from doing their jobs? Do they have jobs or families to support?

It's all good, their cause is more "moral and righteous" than those OWS p#ssys.

Those clowns were much worse occupying government property, parks, camping out for weeks, littering everywhere, doing drugs, raping women.

Yeah, doesn't change the fact that they're wasting everyone's time and money and harassing people around town.

What do you call accessing files with the intent of blackmailing the government? Or trespassing? Or destroying government property?

Yeah, I'm sure schools were also closed because feelings were hurt.

Has nothing to do with a bunch of agitated rednecks running around town.

Skraight from the article:

"Removing fences, damaging any Refuge property, or unauthorized use of equipment would be additional unlawful actions by the illegal occupiers," Fish and Wildlife said in a statement.

Yeah, they probably WOULD be.

"There is a very clear threat to BLM employees," Eardley said, but he did not cite any specific threats.

Oh imagine that.

What a crock of shiit.

The article very clearly states that they HAVE BEEN removing fences. So yeah, they ARE damaging government property.

Feel free to cherry pick more quotes if you'd like.

I'd like to know how much of our money these dumba$$es are wasting.

What about the 16 people that are getting paid administrative leave because they can't work from home? And the law enforcement officials we could be paying to do better things?
