MBB: Toledo v NIU "The Game" before the game....?
Rumor has it there was a non-officiated yet highly competitive basketball game between Northern and Toledo yesterday afternoon at Savage. Does anyone know who won?

If this is true then it's just plain stupid in my opinion.

Why play a "non-officiated" yet "highly competitive" game--one where aggressive or physical play could lead to an injury beyond what might occur in just a practice? And why show your offense & defense--they've already seen tape, yes, but now your opponent gets to actually "practice" against you? Craziness...

Rocket Basketball managers won big over the Huskie team managers yesterday. Perhaps this is what you speak of?

Do our football managers play their FB managers? I mean, a win is a win, right?
