First blush: UB does not match up well against EMU (as CMU didn't, either). UB is very different than NIU.

I don't see any impact players other than say Bearden. Willie Connor started the MAC season off hot.

Have to bet 29 to win 10 on EMU (straight win/lose wager) vs. 10 to win 24.50 on UB.

That's a pretty big spread. I'd guess EMU closer to 2:1 (bet 20 to win 10).

I was impressed with Jarryn Skeete in Buffalo's gave v Iowa State. Kid has game. This is no pushover, EMU better be ready to play.

They're very perimeter-oriented. Limit the damage that Bearden and Skeete do and we should be fine. Not the biggest team either...hopefully Thompson eats.

This is a must win for multiple reasons. We can't lose to a first year coach with most of his talent departed from last season's team.

I disagree that this is a must win. If we lose, I think the BG game on Saturday becomes a must win, but I think any of us would've been happy with a 2-2 start in Mac play.

That being said, it would be very beneficial to win tonight. We play this team twice...don't want to drop one at home.
