RE: Broncos in 2016 NFL draft
BGSU sophomore receiver Roger Lewis just declared for the draft. Played only two season for the Falcons, but is also 22 years old. Probably felt that his stock would drop after this season with Babers, Matt Johnson and a whole bunch of others already gone. You know what they say...strike while the iron's hot.

Braverman is one of the most exciting receivers after the catch that I've ever seen.

It would be great to see his skill displayed at the pro level.

BG made him ineffective by holding him up at tge line. He struggled to shake the block. I'm not certain he has the body to handle the bigger stronger NFL corners. He should never have left early, but if what I've been told is true, I understand his motive.

Beavers? Surprised to hear that high, felt the guard Kristoff was better.

Dip that strategy is what Broncos have to do tomorrow. Destroy the rhythm of passing game. Make Brady hold ball too long and sack him.

RE: Broncos in 2016 NFL draft
Beavers has an ideal frame and is athletic. I can see him moving to guard in the pros, where they could use him to pull. He does get some movement in the run game, but he lacks the ideal strength you would like to see from a good prospect. The Senior Bowl is going to be important to him. He could be a 3rd rounder with a good showing, or fall to free agent status with a bad one.

I also thought Jimmy Kristof was the better of the two. Sucks he got injured his senior year. Wouldn't be surprised to see him surface in a NFL camp at some point when he gets healthy.

I'm still surprised that Ronald Zamort isn't getting some attention. He has been extremely productive throughout his career and is a better CB in my opinion than EJ Biggers ever was at WMU. I even think he is better than Celiscar was.

I don't pretend to know why Daniel Braverman left WMU. Not sure he was ever going to increase his status, but if he is drafted, I have to think it's 6th/7th round at best. If NFL people looked more at results, I would have more confidence, but they tend to look at measurables more.

Yes, Beavers is playing guard in the senior bowl and that's what he'll likely project as.

I can kind of understand how scouts are still cold towards Zamort. He's smallish (again, they look at measurables), and he tends to go for the big play every time which sometimes results in him getting burned. He could get away with that in college, but it aint going to work on NFL receivers. He does have the raw talent and skills to play the position though and I'm sure he'll land in a camp somewhere.
