Jerry Palm would do something like that. The two teams that can run two starting 5s on the court. The teams with history in the tournament. He's a basketball fan for sure.

How would Ga State be an 8 seed? There's no way that's even possible.

Little Rock is not that great of a team. I've seen them play four games this season. They're a decent club, but not 8 seed good.

Granted, UALR has one loss, but it was an 18 point loss to Texas Tech. Aside from Tech, they really haven't played that much better of a schedule than we have.

UT-Arlington has beaten Ohio State, Memphis, and Georgia State. They lost to Texas in OT on the road. Their KenPom rating is 64.

Arkansas-Little Rock has road wins at Tulsa and San Diego State. Their KenPom rating is 47.

C-USA doesn't have any teams in the top 100 right now.

The Sun Belt's bottom feeders are just as bad as ours. However, they have one team in the top 50, and two teams in the top 100 (GA ST is 98).

You're right on. Hot teams like UALR typically level off in conference play. They are just as likely to miss the tournament all together than get an 8 seed.

I will have a hard time believing Kentucky will be as low as a 4 seed. They will be a top 8 team by tourney time.

I would assume that all of UAB's seeding is based on us being the one automatic/tournament champion from CUSA that every league must be given.

Yup. CUSA isn't getting two teams in this year, no matter how you slice it.

I think our seeding will be 1 better than otherwise based off last year's performance.
