-Seems like Penn has a celebrity boner for authoritarians and guys with bloodlust power. He enjoyed hobnobbing with Hugo Chavez and Saddam Hussein.

-Sinaloa cartel has an itchy trigger-finger. Even if he felt it he wasn't at fault, Penn oughta be looking over his shoulder for a while. If the cartel's rank and file ever believed Penn ratted Chapo out, even accidentally... he's gone.

-Penn's commentary actually touches on a few good points. The War on Drugs is a loser and enables guys like El Chapo to become a billionaire. And blame the sellers all you want, but we (Americans) are buying all his stuff to smoke, snort and shoot up. Chapo just provides what they're willingly paying for.

The Mexicans are reporting that the Sean Penn article provided them with information that led to his capture. Even Penn unintentionally pointed towards El Chapo, his biggest worry may now be getting wacked.

Looks like the US Attorney General in New York is going to issue subpeonas to Penn and his wife/girlfriend.

All things considered, including my almost complete boycott of anything Sean Penn and this interview with El Chapo, Sean Penn being targeted by a cartel would not be a good thing.....

Not to be anal but there is no such thing as the US Attorney General in New York. There is a US Attorney - Southern District of New York (Preet Bharara) who is issuing the subpoenas. There is a New York State Attorney General (Eric Schneiderman) who is trying to shut down Draft Kings.
