Depends on the ref. I'm sure some are adversely affected by it-- makes their jobs a bit harder, I would think.

Shaq has had a rep since he tomahawked a SMU player at Dallas his freshman year. I was at that game and I thought it was just two guys that got tangled up high in the air, but he got tossed.

100% absolutely and it is so, so maddening.

Shaq is clearly a passionate player and I love his effort and ability on the court. The constant chirping and demonstrative body language really hurts his ability to not get little fouls.

He needs to stop it and I have no idea why a senior acts that way still.

It's a massive bummer too, b/c he can play with anyone if he just... plays...

We need more of the edge he brings.

A tough attitude is fine. His silly antics are not and end up costing the team. At least he's not making fun of coaches on the bus, though, I guess.
