Early 70's, home game vs Vandy.
Near the end of the game, the refs made some very unpopular calls leading to 11,200 chanting "Go to Hell, Referee". I was a pre-teen, but witnessing the raw emotion and solidarity of that crowd was very powerful. We did lose that game, but it was a lot of fun. 05-mafia

The D Rose explosion in the tourney. The CDR slam over Kevin Love. Watching Penny play was probably my more memorable time. the games against the Hogs in the 91-92 season were epic. David Vaughn's last second putback vs Purdue. Mingo torching the Hogs for 32. man, we can go on and on....

trying to figure out why the wins over South Carolina, Kansas State, and Providence in 1973, as well as the appearance in the national championship game against UCLA, don't count.

Mike DeCourcey says it is our 64 game conference winning streak that he thinks will never be broken.

beating 10c twice in 11-12: the double OT win in Maui and then at home by 18, then beating the chuggers at the chug center the next year by 5

That's actually possible. But you gotta get the name right.

Siri sucks. Funny watching his parents at Memphis-SMU games. Hard to cheer for both teams

Shyrone Chatman's half court shot was pretty amazing. Bubbapt, I have that 92 vs Georgia Tech on DVD and watched it not long ago. It was great to see Larry, Penny and David embracing after the game. A really special moment

Some not all, I don't think these games were vacated.

An analogy: you sleep with a woman and it was great. Creates a good memory, but come to find out she gives you a STD. You still have a good memory of the night, but for some reason the memory is lessened by the "gift" you received.
