At least they remembered to include us.

We could have been in the 30's if Willie Quitz didn't stick his middle finger up at us for the GaSt game on his way out of town

I won't disagree. Even though we ran through the conference schedule, we looked horrible against Toledo and in the second half vs La Tech. We also couldn't beat a horrible Missouri team at home. I know Missouri and Toledo are without Knighten, but rankings don't do adjustments for when you have a starter out. App St had a great year and GaSo looked great against Georgia and in the bowl game.

The Georgia State turd should keep us out of the top 40, though I think we were playing like a top 40 late season minus that game.

We are listed at 40 but I agree had we beaten GSU we would have been at least a few spots higher.

I think the 2 biggest things for me were that we had five teams from other conferences finish below our last placed team and with GSU, Troy, Idaho and NMSU trending up this season next season could be a special one in OOC games.

All I can say is that I'll take it

I expect that both NMSU and Idaho will move up a few notches again following the 2016 season.

I always enjoyed the stAte vs NMSU football games when you guys were in the SBC last time . . good games.
