RE: President Obama will refrain from endorsing in the Dem primary
Here's a direct answer. I'm trying to get you to realize something. The signature is a commentary on the cognitive dissonance in the minds of Christians who wear WWJD bracelets but hate Mexicans and Muslims. That's about as un-Christlike as I can imagine. And there is a long history in this country of pastors catering to the whims of the moment. Read the book Human Smoke to see how pastors went from preaching peace before WWI to foaming at the mouth warmongers at the drop of a hat. I believe in making this world a better place and I think if self professed Christians could lead the way by practicing love instead of painting him in their nativist image we could make significant progress.

Hell, if I was POTUS I'd want to get the hell out of that crazy place ASAP when my term was over. No need to stick around, etc. Bill is getting involved with Hillary and it's just going to cause her more grief than good. Bernie scares me, so no wonder O is staying away from him.

Seems like the dems think it would be a bad idea to have the potus endorse any of them, given his approval rate

Either Dem candidate would love to have his endorsement. Hey what's George W Bush up to?

He's moved on. Sad to say that's not the case with lots of other people.

RE: President Obama will refrain from endorsing in the Dem primary
I thought we were talking about presidents whose endorsements no one wants, so I mentioned George W Bush, who didn't appear at the GOP convention and isn't even out campaigning for his brother.

President Bush Takes Center Stage On Second Night Of Rebooted Republican National Convention
"ST. PAUL, Minnesota — In a rarity at such a massive, carefully planned political event, Republicans got a do-over on Tuesday (September 2) at the Republican National Convention when President Bush beamed in via satellite to sing the praises of presumptive presidential nominee Senator John McCain."

The Presidents most popular refrain is "Tra la la la la".

If the Human Smoke book you are referring to is by Nicholas Baker, then you need to read some real history. The Axis were pure evil and pacifism can't stop evil. Yet, he thinks America goaded Japan into war because we offered support to China. You know, the nation getting destroyed by Japan. Good grief. Besides, the monsters of World War II were led by the forces of irreligious, secularism and the forces of science unrestrained by morality. Any pastor preaching support for the war was a non-factor.
Plenty of Old Testament prophets preached sermons against the forces of evil and promised justice for wrongdoing. David fought Goliath. He didn't wave a sign for peace.
Your signature is the typical liberal view of Jesus. Ericrevenge has responded in better terms. Jesus also said to buy a sword and if a town refuses to receive you, to wipe the dust off your feet. Jesus would not support law breaking which is what illegal immigrants and ISIS fighters are doing. That is what I (99% of Christians) dislike. But because we don't support law breaking, the Left paints us as narrowminded bigots and uses Jesus (the only time they have use for Him) to attempt to shame us.
In reality, you want Christians to follow your ideals even if those ideals possibly go against Christian ideals. I am not surprised. Society does the same.

I would like Obama to endorse Hillary, and then she gets indicted for all of the crimes associated with
her illegal email scheme.

RE: President Obama will refrain from endorsing in the Dem primary
You need to reread my post. I said WWI, not II. I certainly think 2 was justified and I'm citing Baker not for his central thesis of pacifism which I disagree with, but the thoroughly sourced speeches and news clippings therein. You don't have to like the former to value the latter. It's not just about WWII. It starts with Alfred Nobel, the dynamite manufacturer in the late 19th century who became so disgusted with the damage he wrought.
Fine, just stop calling him the prince of peace. All his talk about helping the least among us, treating others as we would want to be treated etc is trumped (no pun intended) by "he didn't support lawbreaking".

You said the book Human Smoke. I was referring to it. You cannot pick and choose the ideology from your book.
He is called the Prince of Peace in the Bible. There you go again telling Christians to go against their ideals.
