How does Lewis still retain his head coach position? He is so so terrible.

Loss wasn't really his fault. He played about as good as you could expect. Ffs, I haven't seen a lack of discipline like that to end a game. Idiots.

That game was HILARIOUS to watch with Bengals fans. Literally every emotion in a 5 minute span...the whole bar was bi-polar 03-lmfao

Think he was referring to McCarron, not Lewis

There are a whole lot of layers of the onion to peel back from that game.

I am really glad I stopped becoming emotionally involved with the Bengals at age 16. I'll be honest, I laughed at the past few playoff disasters. This one just had me shaking my head. Neither the bengals, Steelers, nor the NFL came out of that one looking good.

What the **** is up with the Bengals fans at the game? They were cheering the injuries to the Steelers, threw trash at Big Ben when he was carted off the field, etc. I don't care what team you root for, you never cheer for injuries. Crappy fans.

The NFL man. It's really bad. That league brings the worst out of people you never think you would see out of anyone.

You had Bengals fans throwing things at an injured player, Steelers coaches acting like children, Bengals players losing their temper like they were 5, and a Steelers player inciting the crowd right after he knocked out a Bengal.

It was real, real bad.

The Bengals haven't won a playoff game since the first Bush's administration, including a 15 year gap between playoff appearances. If not for the Super Bowl appearances, they'd be regarded as one of the worst franchises in NFL history (and probably still are).

I didn't see that ( since I'd fallen asleep, thank god), and I agree, that you don't EVER cheer injuries, BUT, the bengals / steelers rivalry is VERY heated. if they could, which they can't, the league should have one of them switch divisions. there's been cheap shots / ****** things / very stupid comments both ways over the years, and the league (and the teams) have obviously let it get out of control

there was talk on yesterday's radio pregame, on the bengals radio network, that a focus this week in the team's game prep, was just to preach to burfict to knock his **** off. must not have worked. as good as he can be, there's a reason he didn't get drafted coming out of college.

that's one reason the bengals losing doesn't bother me. after paul brown pulled back, his son mikey ( Cincinnati president of the lucky sperm club) managed to choke the f#*n life and spirit out of so many bengals fans, including me. his complete mismanagement of the team and everything about it was colossal. now, he's 80, more of a doddering fool, than just a fool, and the people who have now taken over seem to have some clue.

as much paul b's legacy is golden in the nfl, mikey's is just about the opposite.

The worst franchise that makes the playoffs five straight years. I'd bet there are many franchises that wish they were this bad.

Don't let a few bad apples destroy your opinion of a very good team. The offense for 55 minutes hung in there and did what they had to do to win. If you remove the bad plays by Burffict down the stretch and a very questionable no call on Shazier, and it becomes a very good hard fought game.

As a Titans fan, I went to a game against Cincy in either the first year or second year of the new stadium. Someone was flying a banner over the Stadium to get rid Brown. I laughed my ass off, now I understand.....as a Titans fan.

I hate both teams but I thought it was ridiculous the way the announcers were so pro Steelers. He'll they were trying to figure out a way to say it was a dirty hit on Ben when he got hurt. Steelers weren't choir boys during all this. Porter should have never been on the field, should of been offsetting penalties. Defenseless or not I didn't think you could lead with the crown to someone's face. I understand you can hit high once player is a runner but not with crown of your helmet to the head. All that said the players lost their cool and right or wrong (guess it depends who you are going for) it let the officials decide the outcome of an important game.

RE: Cincinnati Bengals
I thought the Burfict hit was bad but I do question why the assistant coach Porter was on the field and was jawing with Bengals players. In my opinion a penalty should have been called on him and Adam Jones just offsetting that second penalty. I'm sure the NFL will look at it.

Texans fans must be glad that this game ended the way it did so it will overshadow one of the worst playoff performances by any team I've ever seen. The AFC South is such a joke.
