When will the city of Cincinnati put us out of our misery
And cut all of the teams that torture us every year

I am not originally from the Nati, so I never cheered for the Bengals or Reds, but jeez, the Bengals do seem to constantly disappoint. Must be karma from all of those years Mike Brown was the GM.

Mike Brown still is the GM. The Bengals misfortunes go back to the death of Paul Brown. Mike Brown knows nothing about football. When he hired Marvin Lewis, Mike Brown slowly let go of the reigns. Why they can't get over the hump? The Bengals are a finesse team. They need toughness, but not thugs. Once they get some toughness they may win.

I had no doubt the game would end in unspectacular fashion for the Bengals. Even after the Burfict interception you just knew the true Bengals would show up in the last minute 30.

If our current fortunes were based on karma from when Mike Brown was functioning as the GM, we would be winning the Super Bowl every year.

I've never been a Bengals fan. Last night was a good reminder to me why.

Fortunately, many of us who attended UC were not from the Cincinnati area, and are not Bengals fans.

RE: When will the city of Cincinnati put us out of our misery
I have spent the last few years trying to remove my care for the Bengals and the nfl. It has been harder than expected. My take on last night is that some of the players had money on the steelers and were aiming for injuries over points.

The endings for the Bengals and Vikings were not surprising. Cursed franchises.

How about Doug Flynn and Rocky Boiman? Those two have some of the most irritating voices I've ever heard. Like nails on a chalkboard.

Scott Sloane wins that award, especially when he laughs.
