Dear Friends,
He still looks like he's twelve years old. Good for him. Thanks for the information KPJ.

I hope he rises through the coaching ranks and potentially ends up back at his alma mater down the road.

RE: Earl Boykins
great article! Boykins sounds like he's all-in as coach there, probably at least until his son graduates. can you imagine being a high school kid and all of a sudden an NBA player is your coach? our coach wore penny loafers and didn't actually watch much basketball.

My coach thought he was Bobby Knight. Total A-hole!

RE: Earl Boykins
After we beat a ranked team in the state before Christmas break, my coach went out and celebrated, got pulled over, got arrested, got a DUI, and ruined a promising senior season for a talented group of young lads.

I would love to see Earl come in here as an assistant to recruit guards and then take our program. Earl backed away from nobody and I mean nobody.

Did all of you hear about the story between Coach Braun and Earl's basketball shoes?

Good for Earl. I actually ran into him at ESPN Zone on my one and only trip to Denver about 10 years ago. I think he was glad to meet another EMU alum so far away. Good guy. Hard worker.
