La techs announcers are so bad. One guy is hard to understand because of the deep south accent, the other ***** names up all the time. Almost unlistenable.
According to his peers and sportswriters Dave Nitz is one of the best, having won Sports broadcaster of the year. I doubt there are many annoucers in CUSA that hold that distinction

I'm assuming he was the main guy talking. He was fine except for ******* up the names repeatedly. It was like every other possession. I understand messing up Ogbueze's name (sorta, it's not that hard to find out how it is pronounced before the game), but he kept calling people the wrong names, then correcting himself, which messed up the flow of his commentary.
That said, he's still way better than the guy we have calling games. Our guy is boring, rarely states the score or time, and makes it very difficult to follow the game. He also messes up player names a lot...for our own team.

Didnt see that one coming. The team Tech beat by 30 pulls off the upset against ODU for their first win. Any team can get beat on any given night in Basketball plus the second road game is always tough for the away team. Congrats to USM

Tech needs to get Joniah White and Davis back in a hurry. White is the reason Tech beat Ohio State and he would have made Charlotte and ODU alter those easy shots.

I hate to hear that, he had put on muscle and improved. He runs the floor well and being 7' with his long arms makes it tough for any player to get a shot off inside.

How does a team that shot 31 threes get to the line 30 times while FIU only shot 14 threes and yet took only 14 free throws? I am interested in seeing how the Herd does on the road. So far home court has been magical.

You could keep your coach for years to come for all I care. And Marshall may not be world beaters but then again we are better than what our record reflects. Our starting PG wasn't eligible until the 2nd semester because his previous school VMI wouldn't release him from his scholarship (I don't care who it is or what sport, if we ever have someone to transfer there I dare Hamrick to release them) He scored 25 last night and D'Antoni said he is still just about 70% (He turned his Ankle and has a pretty bad spain that happened about a week before he became eligible)

Yes, but so did Charlotte (as per usual). We actually shot a little better from the FT line than normal tonight but still bad. We shot 15-30 the other night against USM and still won. We started that one out 0-6 and 1-9 IIRC. If we had shot better from the FT line we would have beaten y'all as well.
