Dominated on the court, but the RPI drops by 18...
The league has got to do better than being the 21st rated conference.

So what you're saying is that UTSA isn't very good and you guys are somewhere above average to good?

No, UAB is pretty good (edited per hooverblazer's suggestion) and UTSA is pretty bad. That much is clear.

I'd say we're between good and pretty good.

Unfortunately for us, we play y'all in Ruston. That's going to be a tough environment against a tough team. The four games I worry about the most are (in order): @ La Tech, @ ODU, UTEP, @ MTSU. I thought before the season started that we'd lose about 4 games in conference. We were absolutely horrible on the road toward the end of conference play last year, so we'll get to see how much we've grown up. If we get by UTEP on Saturday, I think our Bartow Arena winning streak will carry over into next year.

I can't wait until Brooks Thompson leaves, teams are putting record numbers against us.

I'm thinking 2 loss minimum for regular season champ. It's tough to play on the road.

Some of those stats look like your game against us last year.

Thursday/Saturday road series almost guarantee a ridiculously difficult Saturday for the road team.

UAB has only shot 70% or better 3 times. UTSA, ODU last year, and Tennessee back in 1983.

The league has got to do better than being the 21st rated conference.
Now we see why Memphis bitched so much about this league, and it was a better then than it is now. But what is disturbing is that CUSA Basketball continues to get worse and honestly there is nothing on the horizon to say it is going to get better.

That's what I thought watching last night game. It was bad basketball all the way around. This is a conference tourney champ league.

RE: Crazy stats from UAB's 104-82 victory over UTSA
Unfortunately, half of the teams in this league don't care about basketball. But there is potential in the other half.
ODU, UAB, MTSU, UTEP, La. Tech, and WKU are usually solid (though WKU looks a little down this year). Charlotte and Southern Miss are historically good and need to get back to normal (Charlotte may well be on their way back). Marshall looks like it may be a nice surprise. Rhodes will have Rice competitive soon, though injuries have slowed their growth a bit.
The rest, it is what it is.
We need the top teams to get it done out of conference (and stop playing NAIA schools). Unfortunately, we didn't get it done this year (and I'm including ODU).
